Miss Imperfect

My name is Molaea-Rene Goodman, a 21 year old psychology student currently studying at Penn State, with goals to become a clinical psychologist, and the current Miss Black Pennsylvania 2023.

The Miss Imperfect Blog serves to be a space where I discuss issues and topics regarding black women, specifically in terms of mental health and race-related traumas. I want to be a voice that speaks against misogynoir and breaks the stigma of mental health and receiving mental health services, such as counseling, specifically for black women.

This blog is for Black women, by a Black woman. Join me on this journey to expand the conversations that could destigmatize receiving help and can discuss the realities of misogynoir.

As I build upon this blog and expand into new ventures, I will create more pages on different social media sites, in order to gain more of an audience.
